They
are given out to the different people for their brave efforts. It is not an
easy task to give out these lapel pins to the brave officers. Special
ceremonies are organized, and the head of the state comes in to give the custom lapel pins for recognition. Their undoubting and brave efforts are commemorated
with these pins and some cash. They are told that these efforts are nothing in
comparison to what they have done for the country. The officers are given these
pins on behalf of the whole nation. They are given these pins as an active
appreciation for their doubtless endeavors to save the country from worse
situations. It is important to give out these pins, several officers who have
lost their arms or legs during the war, to tell them that it was not a waste.
There are many who have died and their pins are given to their parents or
wives. It is very hard to be in an atmosphere that is full of pride yet full of
sorrow. Pride for what the brave officers have done and sorrow for the loss.
The special pins are
put in special wood, velvet or glass boxes. They are put in these special boxes
because they are special and expensive. When not in use they can be placed in
the cover to avoid damage. Many a times the mints pack the pins as compliments,
but the special ones are made specially.
